Reclaim the Streets Walkabout - 24th October 2018
Reclaim the Streets Walkabout
Residents are invited to attend and raise their concerns with community safety partners on a "Reclaim the Streets" walkabout. The current issues relate to late night congregation, loud noise/music, nitrous oxide abuse, speeding vehicles and general anti-social behaviour. The suspects are not believed to live in the Ward, but come into this area to create these issues. Various members of Tower Hamlets Council/Tower Hamlets Homes staff are also expected to attend in order to add their expertise and input.
The walkabout will take place on a Friday evening, and is not expected to take longer than 45 minutes. Your attendance in creating a high-visibility presence to challenge these issues will be a step towards changing the culture in which this anti-social behaviour has developed.
