Motor Vessel Oceandiva – Premises License Application – CALL TO ACTION!
The Friends of St Katharine's Docks, (FOSKD.org) have issued a letter of representation on the subject which was filed with Newham Licensing Department on the 2nd October 2022.
This is a complex matter and discussions are currently ongoing between representatives of FOSKD and the Oceandiva Team and it is important to read the FOSKD letter of Representation before submitting your own letter.
The closing date for representations to be sent in to Newham Licensing is midnight on Friday 7th October 2022.
Below is a proforma email you may wish to use if you plan to send in your own representation -

We would encourage you to consider doing so, especially if you live on or close to the banks of the Thames from London Bridge down to the Royal Docks in Newham, which is currently the stretch of river they plan to operate on. If a Premises Licence is granted, it is possible that the vessel may extend its area of operation up-stream of London Bridge in the future (dependent upon the PLA granting permission).
If you use the proforma email provided, we are suggesting that you please personalise it with your own comments, and if you live on the banks of the river, please detail how the existing pleasure boats on the Thames may impact your life currently in relation to the four Licensing Objectives:
This matter will go to a Hearing which as things stand currently, is likely to take place in the week beginning 12th December. FOSKD will be represented by a Barrister.
Thank you in advance for your support and please consider forwarding a copy of your submission, after you have emailed it to Newham Licensing, to: contact@skw-wardpanel.org
