London Borough of Tower Hamlets - Liveable Streets Programme - Drop-In Events
LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS – LIVEABLE STREETS PROGRAMME
Liveable Streets is a multi-million pound borough-wide street and public improvement programme.
The aims of this LBTH initiative is to improve the look and feel of public spaces in neighbourhoods across the Borough and make it safer and more convenient to get around on foot, bike and by public transport, reducing people making “rat runs” and short cuts through residential streets and to encourage more sustainable journeys and improve air quality and road safety. Wapping has been identified for development and there are substantial funds available for improvements.
The St Katharine and Wapping Ward Panel would like to recommend that all residents interested in the Liveable Street Programme attend the drop-in events to ensure residents have the opportunity to put forward their views and ideas.
Following workshops in July and September where some residents attended Liveable Streets would like to share their proposals and how they have been designed to help benefit those who live and visit Wapping.

Step-by-Step Nursery, 2nd Floor, 15 Chandler Street, E1W 2QL
