Planning Application for an Embassy at Royal Mint Court

Dear Residents,

We are sending you the details of the representation that the Friends of St Katharine Docks are making in connection with the proposed development of an Embassy at Royal Mint Court on Tower Hill. 

We have attached to this email four documents for you to read please, including our latest letter to the Planning Department dated 4th September 2024 and two previous letters of representation relating to the previous application in 2021 and a transcript of my short oral presentation at the Hearing in 2022. These four documents make up our current representation and will give you a good oversight of our concerns. Below, in blue type, is a draft email which if you agree with our concerns, you could "copy and paste" to use as an email to send to the Planning department as your personal representation. As always, the number of letters sent in does matter.

There is a small window of leeway if you absolutely can't make that deadline, but please submit it as soon as possible to be sure that it will be accepted. I am writing in connection with the Planning Application for the Royal Mint Court site where the Applicant wishes to build an Embassy.

I confirm that I have read the four documents submitted by the Friends of St Katharine Docks as their representation to this planning application and I share the concerns they have raised. I wish to add my support to that representation.
